Madox, born on 1st January 2023, came to live with me at the end of April from Croatia. He quickly became buddies with Sullivan, they tear around together for hours. He’s a lovely, gentle boy who really enjoys his quiet time with lots of snuggles, a real lap dog when he isn’t acting the fool with Sully.
Unfortunately he was quite poorly on arrival with Kennel cough which over the next six weeks went through all but one dog in the home. Due to this we didn’t get out much at all so missed lots of training opportunities which I need to make up for as soon as possible.
Madox was shown very lightly as a puppy due to him becoming suddenly and intermittently lame. After tests on his hips and patellas our Vet diagnosed Panosteitis, (a painful developmental disorder that occurs in young, rapidly developing puppies). Fortunately, this has a great prognosis as a self-limiting disease and Madox should grow out of this by the time he’s 18-24 months old.
Madox is not standing at public stud, please don’t ask!
